MTX A-BUS Whole House Audio System |
|
4-Source, 4-Zone The MTX A-BUS whole house audio system kit pictured to the right can send four stereo audio sources to four different listening zones throughout the house. Instead of running Cat-5 and speaker cable to each of the four listening zones, A-BUS technology uses just Category 5 cable to carry the audio signal, system power, data and status signal from the hub to volume control/amplifiers located in each zone. You'll still need to run speaker cable from there to each of the speakers. The hub features 4 stereo RCA audio inputs and outputs for source component connectivity and 8 RJ45 jacks for audio and IR signal distribution to the locally installed volume control/amplifiers and local source interrupts, along with 5 emitter output ports (1 common), a 12V trigger output port, and an RJ45 expansion port input and output. And, as you'd expect from an MTX whole house audio system, you get four pairs of MTX in-ceiling speakers with 6½ inch glass fiber woofer and 20 mm cloth dome tweeter. |
